Can you believe we’re halfway through 2025 already? Whether you’ve stayed fit or need a fresh start, this is your sign to hit the trails! Join us for a scenic winter run through the beautiful Dirtopia trail system at the foot of Simonsberg. Expect fresh air, forest paths, vineyard views—and that unmistakable Muratie magic.
Venue: Muratie Wine Estate, Knorhoek Road, off the R44 between Stellenbosch & Klapmuts

- 6km: Start at 08h45
- 11km: Start at 09h00
Entry Fees: (Pre-entries close at midnight on 26 June)
- 6km – R155
- 11km – R190
- Under 18? Pre-entry is just R65! (Late entries for U18s pay normal late fee)
Late entries will be accepted on event day at an additional cost.
⏱ Timing:
Amarider Trail Tag required – rent one for R25 or buy for R100. Live results for pre-entries. Late entries’ results will be available by Tuesday morning.
Route Info:
Muratie, with its historic charm and mountain setting, offers hand-built singletrack trails through vineyards and forested paths. This event has been a winter favourite since 2015—come see why runners keep coming back!

- All finishers get a medal & Coke
- Refreshment stations on both routes (Powerade, fruit, cold water)
