 The presenter, David Hogan will cover MTB skills not only aimed at beginners, but for those riders who have been riding for some time and want to learn to be more confident on the trails. Whether you participate in Cross Country Mountain Bike Races, Gravity Enduro Races or just MTB Trail Ride for fun, he'll provide you with training and skills at any level. Ages 12 and up.

Sessions are adapted to the participants with the aim to make sure that everyone rides away with at least one useful new skill. (For beginners you must be fit enough to ride 1.5 hours).

David is based in Stellenbosch and can use any of the local trails. One on one coaching for 1 hour - R400 and for 2 hours - R700.

About David Hogan:

Some prior racing experience :

• 2015 KZN Downhill Cup Champ
• 4th Overall for the 2015 National Downhill series
• 3rd Elite for the 2014 South African Downhill Championships
• 2014 Gauteng Downhill Champion
• Gauteng Provincial Series Champion 2013
• Qualified for the 2014 Downhill world cup in Pietermaritzburg, but a puncture in the final run saw the end to my competition

MTB Clinics schedule
07h30 - 08h00 Registration (Please register at the Trail Centre information desk)
08h00 - 08h30 A quick chat to run through some basic bike anatomy and theory around general bike handling, basic suspension and bike setup, cornering, braking, body position, jumps, drops, rock gardens and overall confidence improvement on the trail.
09h30 - 11h00 Out on the trails to put the theory into practice

MTB Clinic Cost: R420 (R250 deposit) in total per person includes: a goodybag with sample of Squirt lube & wash, VAT, permit on trails and of course lots of lessons!
