TIMING: Results / timing is optional. If you have a (red) Trail Tag from previous events, please bring it along and wear on right wrist. Runners also have the option of renting a temporary (blue) Amarider Trail tag at R25 and will be given to you at registration with your race number. The temporary tag will be taken off at the finish line. Winners are 'caught' at the finish line and remember that late entries or any changes on the day of the event (at registration) will only show on the results one or two days after the event.

TRAIL TAG:
1. Only run with your own TrailTag
2. Please return your rental tags at the finish line.
3. The reader is powerful enough to read through arm warmers etc.
Runners must stay on the marked trail. Listen to the MC at the start and follow yellow boards. Do not turn unless there is an arrow. Follow signs in front of you! Race numbers must be visible at all times, especially at the finish line.
Please do not litter! We also urge you to not leave valuables in your vehicle. We can keep car keys/valuables at registration for you.

As the seasons shift, the trails come alive in a different way. Cool mornings and soft winter sun set the scene for a rewarding trail run, with fresh green landscapes and vineyards in seasonal transition adding colour along the way. Expect a challenging route with some solid climbs, well worth the views.
The event takes place at Warwick Wine Estate, set against the slopes of Klapmutskop, with sweeping views of Simonsberg and the surrounding winelands.
The Dirtopia team has been building and maintaining trails here since 2005, and for this event, selected singletrack sections are opened exclusively.Two distances are available, both making the most of the terrain and scenery.

Late entries will be available on event day at an additional cost. Standard late entry fees apply to all participants – as well as scholars.
Timing: Optional timing by Trailtag.co.za (R25 rental) for results.
What to Expect:
The routes follow established Dirtopia trails, offering a mix of flowing singletrack and scenic vineyard sections. A refreshment station will be available on both routes, with drinks and fruit, and a Coke at the finish. All finishers receive a medal.
Recovery massages will be available on the day by Ultimate Performance Therapy.
Prizes:
Top three male and female finishers in each distance will receive prizes, along with lucky draw giveaways including vouchers from Sportsmans Warehousewine from Warwick and products from SOX Footwear. Stand a chance to win a pair of trail running shoes by 361degrees in the last lucky draw.
On the Day:
Coffee will be available from 08:00. Visitors are encouraged to stay after the run and enjoy the setting. Lunch bookings can be made directly with Warwick Wine Estate — menu details are available on their website.
