TIMING: Results / timing is optional. If you have a (red) Trail Tag from previous events, please bring it along and wear on right wrist. Runners also have the option of renting a temporary (blue) Amarider Trail tag at R25 and will be given to you at registration with your race number. The temporary tag will be taken off at the finish line. Winners are 'caught' at the finish line and remember that late entries or any changes on the day of the event (at registration) will only show on the results one or two days after the event.

TRAIL TAG:
1. Only run with your own TrailTag
2. Please return your rental tags at the finish line.
3. The reader is powerful enough to read through arm warmers etc.
Runners must stay on the marked trail. Listen to the MC at the start and follow yellow boards. Do not turn unless there is an arrow. Follow signs in front of you! Race numbers must be visible at all times, especially at the finish line.
Please do not litter! We also urge you to not leave valuables in your vehicle. We can keep car keys/valuables at registration for you.
Into the Valley Trail Run – Presented by Sportsmans Warehouse

Venue: Muratie Wine Estate, Knorhoek Road, R44, Stellenbosch
Starting from Muratie Wine Estate, these routes will head towards neighbouring farm Quoin Rock and Knorhoek to get to forest singletrack in the Knorhoek Valley below Simonsberg.

- 6km – Starts at 09h00
- 11km – Starts at 08h45

Pre-entries (closes by Friday 21 August 2026):
6km: R170
12km: R230
Kids under 18: R75 (pre-entry only)
Late entries will be accepted on event day at an additional fee. NB: Late-entry kids under 18 pay the normal late-entry rate.

Route Description
- Both routes take runners deep into the scenic valley on custom-built Dirtopia singletrack trails.
- Expect varied terrain, mountain slopes, forest singletrack and vineyard paths—a true trail running experience!
- Refreshment stations with Energy Drink, fruit, and Coke along the route and at the finish line.
Medals for all finishers!
Recovery massages available post-run by Ultimate Sports Therapy
Lucky draw & prizes: Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers, SOX footwear, and Muratie wines for the top 3 male & female runners in each distance.
