TIMING: You can purchase a permanent Trail Tag at R100 which you will use at all Dirtopia Trail Run events. If you have a Trail Tag from previous events, please bring it along and wear on right wrist. Runners also have the option of renting a temporary Amarider Trail tag at R25 and will be given to you at registration with your race number. The temporary tag will be taken off at the finish line. Winners are 'caught' at the finish line and remember that late entries or any changes on the day of the event (at registration) will only show on the results one or two days after the event.

TRAIL TAG:
1. Only run with your own TrailTag
2. Please return your rental tags at the finish line.
3. The reader is powerful enough to read through arm warmers etc.
Runners must stay on the marked trail. Listen to the MC at the start and follow yellow boards. Do not turn unless there is an arrow. Follow signs in front of you! Race numbers must be visible at all times, especially at the finish line.
Please do not litter! We also urge you to not leave valuables in your vehicle. We can keep car keys/valuables at registration for you.

Shake off the year and stride into the sunshine at the Blooming Trail Run, a celebration of trails, summer, and the festive season ahead! Set in the stunning Knorhoek valley, this mid-November run takes you through rolling hills, lush vineyards, and plenty of flowing singletrack. With wildflowers still bright on the slopes and the scent of summer in the air, it’s the perfect way to round off Spring—whether you’re chasing a fast time or just soaking up the good vibes on the trail.

Experience trail running paradise! Wind through forested singletrack along the slopes of Simonsberg – these stunning trails are normally closed to the public. While not easy, they are 100% worth the effort. Legendary Meurant Botha trails!
