TIMING: You can purchase a permanent Trail Tag at R100 which you will use at all Dirtopia Trail Run events. If you have a Trail Tag from previous events, please bring it along and wear on right wrist. Runners also have the option of renting a temporary Amarider Trail tag at R20 and will be given to you at registration with your race number. The temporary tag will be taken off at the finish line. 1. Only run with your own TrailTag
2. Please return your rental tags at the finish line.
3. The reader is powerful enough to read through arm warmers etc.
Runners must stay on the marked trail. Listen to the MC at the start and follow yellow boards. Do not turn unless there is an arrow. Follow signs in front of you!
Please do not litter! We also urge you to not leave valuables in your vehicle. We can keep car keys at the Trail Centre for you.

Yes, we’re halfway through 2024 already!
Have you stayed fit for the first six months of the year? Well, keep on going or start all over… Muratie is the base for some of the most beautiful trail systems in the Western Cape at the foot of Simonsberg.

Pre-entry fees:
6km – R150, 11km – R180
All PRE-ENTRANTS who are under 18 years of age will pay only R60 entry fee! Late entries who are under 18 will pay normal late entry fees. Late entries will be accepted at an additional fee.
Timing by Amarider Trail Tag – available for rent (R20) or to buy (R100).
ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: With a rich history, this charming wine farm is nestled on the foot of the Simonsberg that gives us access to special hand-built trails. Still one of the most popular winter events since 2015, as runners will never get bored of all the singletrack!
GENERAL INFO: A special event medal to the first 250 online entries. Pre-entries will receive the discount and a generic Dirtopia finishers medal to the rest. Coke to all finishers! A refreshment station on both routes with Powerade, fruit & cold water will keep runners hydrated.
Prizes to the winners plus lucky draws which includes wine from the estate, Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers and FALKE socks. Coffee & ‘grab n go meals’ will be for sale from early morning. If you’d like a sit-down meal at the Farm kitchen, please book a table at Muraties’ Farm Kitchen.
