Get ready for a spooky adventure! Put on your best costume and brave the eerie singletrack trails of Muratie’s forest, complete with Halloween-themed fun. Since 2013, Dirtopia has been hosting this thrilling event, and the historic Muratie Wine Estate—complete with spiderwebs in the windows—is the perfect venue. Don’t worry, though—you’ll be rewarded with fantastic singletrack trails and live music to keep the spirits high!

Distances & Route Descriptions:
Explore beautiful singletrack trails that climb to a ridge with stunning sunset views, then descend through the forest on hand-built paths. Walkers and kids are welcome!
- 5km: The short route follows the same markers as the long distance, taking you up to the ridge and to Gilloolys, where you’ll find a water point and spectacular views. Then head down the spooky Ho Chi Minh singletrack forest—if you dare!
- 10km: After the refreshment station at Gilloolys, the long route continues with an extra loop of eerie forest singletrack. Be on the lookout for “unseen” Halloween visitors—legend has it, zombies roam the woods. And remember: always yield for ghosts!

- Pre-entries offer significant savings, and all finishers will receive a special 2025 Halloween medal!
- There will be a lucky draw for the best costumes—prizes include Muratie wines, FALKE socks, and Sportsmans Warehouse gear. Awards will be given for both individual costumes and matching couple outfits.
- The refreshment station on the routes will have PVM and fruit, with Coke at the finish.
- Cold wine and beer will be available, along with delicious grab-and-go meals from Muratie.
- Enjoy live music from Akkedis after your run!
